ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Lisset Gonzalez, I come from a small town called Fort Morgan, Colorado. I am a second-year Neuroscience major who attends the University of Colorado Boulder. Since I grew up in a small town, there wasn’t always much to do so I started drawing and getting into digital design when I was in middle school and have partaken in many contests, from drawing the yearbook cover to designing planner covers. Art is the opposite of my major but I wanted to continue my education with art. I have some experience with art and digital design since I took some college classes at my local community college for two years, those included: photoshop and illustrator. I wanted to retouch art since it’s something that brings me peace and comfort and I like bringing my ideas to life along with the ideas of others. Originally I wanted to major in graphic design but later came to find out I’d prefer it more as a hobby or as a side job. I specialize in an array of many things but mostly I’ve spent most of my ‘career’ making logos and infographics. Since then, I have made logos, theater cover books, and package designs. I like to try different types of art so in my work, you can see I always try new things. I hope to continue doing art as a side hobby so when I have time and need to destress I can always come back and do the thing I love.
